EDO 2024 :  The Man Hon Joseph Ikpea.

Hon Joseph Ikpea, a true born of Edo State, Esan extraction, in Edo Central Senatorial District is from the reknown Ikpea family of Ewato town in Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo state.

Hon Ikpea, by all recorning, is no mean a man within the political circle as he has occupied various political positions, in trust for the people of Edo state and his local government area.

As a member of Edo State Universal basic education board (SUBEB) representing Edo central senatorial district, he facilitated the construction and renovation of  primary schools across the  five local government areas  in  the senatorial district.

While at the SUBEB, Hon Joseph Ikpea identified the absence of toilet facilities in public schools as one basic challenge facing teachers and pupils in the area.

To this effect,  Hon. Ikpea built toilets across most of the schools, while  the ones that were in horrible state were modernized,  even as perimeter fences were constructed in most of the schools that were prone to external vandalization, as it was a common phenomenon in edo south, Edo north and Edo central senatorial district respectively.

SEE BROCHURE FOR FACT VERIFICATION.

AS A LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN, despite the very poor allocation that was coming to the local government as at that time, Hon Joe Ikpea was able to site a  project each, in each of the wards in the local government except ward 9 (ILUSHI) due to the communal crisis, as at that time. However relief materials were made available to them to cover for the project.

7. NULGE officials and members were not left out,  as brand new Hiace bus was bought to enable the union function effective in local government

8. Health care centers were regularly supplied and filled with drugs in the local government

9. All workers' salaries were paid up to date before Hon Joe Ikpea left the office, even when almost all other councils where owing up to 18 months and  more.

For this singular  reason Hon Joe Ikpea was given a  letter of commendation by the then state governor ( Comrade Adams Oshiomhole)

It is important to note, at this junction that Hon Ikpea is
a selflessness and  a PHILANTHROPIST who severally Supported  in the completion of personal buildings of some individuals in the local government.

He Provided and secured accommodation for some persons within the local government.

He gave out scholarships to students and supported women on maternity in the local government.

He gave family support and also asisted many widows and elderly with monetary stipend  in a monthly payroll system.

He provided employment for some youths  while he was the local government  chairman.

He is a man who will not deviate from his promises , he promised to build a church for his personal pastor when he was campaigning, behold he built and handed it over to the pastor.

YOU CAN FACT CHECK.

Edo people should expect more projects if Hon Dr Joseph Ikpea is given the opportunity to serve as Edo State Governor 2024
