. . . Calls on FG To Facilitate Visa Issuance For Supporters Club.


A chieftain of the All Progressive Congress APC, and a frontline governorship aspirant in the 2024 governorship election in Edo state, Dr. Joseph Ikpea has sent a message of felicitation to the handlers and players of Nigeria's super falcon for their victory over the host country, Australian team, at the ongoing FIFA Female Football World Cup. 

Dr Ikpea in the statement personally issued and signed, copies of which were made available to newsmen in Benin city, said the feat attained and the "never die Nigerian spirit displayed by the super falcons is highly commendable. 

"Playing against the host country before their national and supporters could be intimidating. Despite this our ladies put in their best to make the nation proud. 

"I am calling on the players and their handlers to rekindle the winning, resilient and proven Nigerian ruggedity spirit in all their games. Be rest assured that we are all behind you. We will continue to pray and support the team.

Meanwhile, the 2024 gubernatorial hopeful, has called on the Federal government to expedite actions in helping the Nigerian supporters club to get over their visa challenges.

Dr. Ikpea said "the none issuance of visa to the supporters club to go and cheer-up our players is unacceptable." 

The Federal Government should do the needful so that the supporters club will be able to go and cheer our team to victory. 

The ongoing FIFA female world cup tournament is jointly hosted by Australia and New Zealand,  
Scheduled for 20th July to 20th August 2023
