Good Friday: Hon Dr Joseph Ikpea extends his goodwill message to Edo people

A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State and a former Edo State Commissioner for Oil, Gas and Solid Minerals, Hon. (Dr.) Joseph Igiagbe Ikpea has extended warm Good Friday greetings to the people of Edo State tasked Christians to love one another and imbibe the spirit of tolerance.

In his message his signed and made available to Newsmen reads in part; On behalf of my family and my dear party (APC), I extend warm wishes of peace to Christian communities observing Good Friday today, and happy Easter to members of Churches in Edo State who will celebrate this Sunday.

During this season of reflection, Christians find solace in thoughts of renewal, hope, faith, and love of neighbor. The qualities of grace and compassion have been a long standing theme of my family’s decades of work saving lives, reducing poverty, strengthening democratic governance, and helping people emerge stronger from humanitarian crises. 

Our work every day on behalf of the Edo people is always led by the guiding principle of helping our neighbors in need around the world, with hope that these efforts will bear the fruit of our belief in a free, peaceful, and prosperous planet for future generations.

I extend my gratitude to all Christians in the federation,  May you have a healthy and safe Easter Celebration.

Hon Dr Joseph Ikpea an Exemplary Leader

EDO 2024 :  The Man Hon Joseph Ikpea. Hon Joseph Ikpea, a true born of Edo State, Esan extraction, in Edo Central Senatorial District is from the reknown Ikpea family of Ewato town in Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo state.  Hon Ikpea, by all recorning, is no mean a man within the political circle as he has occupied various political positions, in trust for the people of Edo state and his local government area. As a member of Edo State Universal basic education board (SUBEB) representing Edo central senatorial district, he facilitated the construction and renovation of  primary schools across the  five local government areas  in  the senatorial district.
