Let's Make Great Again

My good people of Ewatto Kingdom.
I am Michael Eloebhose from Abhuru Ewatto, I work in Ewatto, and I reside in Ewatto because commitment and diligence is a virtue of character.

I am a member of Assemblies of God Abhuru branch and also a member of Inspired Word Evangelical and Salvation Ministries.
I have written books while others are yet to be published.

I am delighted to inform you all that I am vying for the position of councilor to represent the good people of Ewatto in this forth coming local government election under the platform of All Progressive Congress APC

I understand my primary role as a councillor, if elected is to represent my ward and the people who live in it. The demands visibility, being a trusted point of contact and an effective advocate for local people, ensuring that the views of local communities are represented and fed into decisions taken by the council and partners will not be a problem.
I owe it as a responsibility to communicate council policy and decisions to the people in my ward.

For leadership representation if elected, I will involve in acting as an advocate for the best interests of the people of Ewatto and also the wider council area, lobbying for local concerns/ issues that are important to Ewatto; influencing partner organisations to work to a common purpose and outcomes, resolving potential conflict amongst community organisations, supporting Ewatto communities to develop their own solutions to problems in the land, where appropriate, balancing competing demands for resources when making decisions in the best interests of the whole Ewatto.

In providing qualities services and development to the good people of Ewatto
If elected, my three points agenda are:
1. Rehabilitating the primary health care in Ewatto, providing the equipment and the resources needed for women to run their prenatal care, thereby ensuring safe delivery.

2. Education is the greatest weapon to fight poverty, as such I will partner with community to have more community teachers to boost the work force in the two public secondary schools we have in Ewatto and encourage hard working students with writing materials and scholarship.
3. Empowerment: I will empower some of our youth and women, including men as well to be able to start up a small scale business.

Councillors are the only locally democratically elected community representatives capable of holding public services to account for their performance within local areas and on behalf of local communities. If elected, I will play a role of scrutinising and monitoring how well services are delivered by the council and its partners to the good people of Ewatto.

It is important to understand that, the above agenda can possibly be achieved if I am elected. My philosophy is simple and clear, to provide a Just and Egalitarian Society were a representative will be answerable to the people he represent.
